# SoundSleep > SoundSleep is a snore recorder and sleep sound monitor for iPhone and Android. It listens all night, tells your snoring apart from sleep talking, coughing and room noise, keeps a short clip of every sound it catches, and gives you a 0–100 snore score each morning. All audio analysis happens on the phone; recordings never leave the device. Developer: GoSwift Media (Angel Vazquez). Website: https://thesoundsleep.app. Support: angel@goswiftmedia.com. ## What it does - Records all night from a phone on the nightstand and keeps only the moments that matter (snoring, sleep talking, coughing, heavy breathing) as timestamped clips, not eight hours of audio. - Snore score 0–100 per night: duration 50%, frequency 30%, loudness 20%. Under 30 is quiet, 30–60 moderate, 60+ heavy. The first three nights build a personal baseline. - Full-night timeline showing when snoring got loud, plus a Room Report of what filled the room (dog, traffic, TV, fan) as labels only, no audio kept. - Loud moments: sounds the app could not identify are kept as playable clips you can name; your labels are remembered. - Tag what you did before bed (alcohol, late meal, new pillow, side sleeping, exercise) and see what each factor costs in points once enough nights exist. Experiments Lab runs ON/OFF nights for one remedy and gives a verdict. - Sleep-stage overlay from Apple Watch (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to see which sounds lined up with waking. - Privacy: on-device machine learning, no account, no upload of audio. Optional anonymous usage analytics can be turned off in Settings → Privacy. ## Who it is for People who have been told they snore and want proof, people who wake up tired and want to know why, partners of snorers, sleep talkers who want to hear what they said, and anyone testing a snoring remedy who wants evidence instead of one lucky night. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose sleep apnea; it produces recordings and trends worth bringing to a clinician. ## Pricing (US, September 2026) - Free: all-night recording, snore score, timeline, room report, your latest 7 nights, free preview of the loudest clip each night, badges and streaks. - SoundSleep Pro: $5.99/month or $29.99/year with a 7-day free trial. Unlocks unlimited history, weekly and monthly trends, lifestyle correlations, playback of every clip, share a clip or the whole night as a video, doctor-ready PDF reports, smart masking sounds, backup and restore. ## Platforms - iPhone, iOS 16 or later: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6759564579 - Android 8 or later: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goswiftmedia.soundsleep - Languages: English, Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil). ## Pages - [Facts sheet: what SoundSleep detects, what is free, what is Pro](https://thesoundsleep.app/soundsleep-facts) - [SoundSleep vs SnoreLab](https://thesoundsleep.app/soundsleep-vs-snorelab) - [Best snore recorder apps in 2026](https://thesoundsleep.app/best-snore-recorder-apps-2026) - [What is a snore score?](https://thesoundsleep.app/blog-what-is-a-snore-score) - [How to record yourself snoring with your phone](https://thesoundsleep.app/blog-how-to-record-yourself-snoring) - [Do I snore?
